2 incumbents re-elected to Montebello Unified

Calderon received 5,150 votes or 46 percent; and Vela, 4336 votes or 38 percent, while challenger David Manuel received 1,819 votes or 16 percent. The two incumbents, who defeated David Manuel, spent more than $53,000. Calderon raised $43,160, spent $42,834 and was loaned $4,000 from The Calderon Group, according to her financial statements filed with the county clerk’s office.
